  3. Only a complete submission is eligible for review.
  4. All commercial sales pitches will not be accepted for a presentation.

  9. No late submissions will be accepted.

ACP will be accepting abstracts across the following focus areas:

  • Permitting & Siting – What can be done to improve the permitting and siting process to ensure more stability for supply chain timelines and durability for the industry?
  • Interconnection – How do we cost-effectively integrate offshore wind into the grid to ensure a steady deployment of offshore wind that is able to deliver electricity on time to states?
  • Supply Chain – While the offshore wind industry is starting construction on the east coast, our supply chain is growing across the US, from Florida and Louisiana to Illinois and Wisconsin. How do we help tell this story and gain bipartisan support for offshore wind?
  • Construction – Construction is ongoing now! How do we learn from ongoing techniques and build efficiencies?
  • Workforce – What workforce training challenges are the greatest and how do we work to recruit and train for them?
  • Safety – Offshore safety is essential to a successful industry. What is the industry doing to ingrain a safety culture from the start?
  • Public Engagement – What are the best ways for companies to continue to engage with local communities, tribes, marine stakeholders, the general public, etc?

Please note that selected speakers will be required to register for the conference at a significantly discounted rate. ACP is a non-profit and this helps the organization cover some basic conference costs. Revenue from ACP events goes back to the industry through ACP’s efforts to grow the U.S. clean power industry and support clean energy professionals.

ACP members will be preferred over non-member presentations. For inquiries on membership, please contact our membership team at membership@cleanpower.org.
