Welcome to the NeoCon 2025 Call for Programming Submissions Site
You are invited to submit a presentation for consideration for NeoCon 2025 Programming.
Complete your submission by January 20, 2025, for your presentation to be considered for inclusion at NeoCon 2025. Submitters of selected presentations will be notified by February 21, 2025.
Up to fifty (50) submissions will be selected for virtual presentations on the NeoCon Learning Hub. An additional eight (8) onsite CEU presentations, four (4) workshops and up to ten (10) talks will be invited and curated for presentation onsite at NeoCon.
Submissions may be considered for the following programming formats:
- VIRTUAL CEU SESSIONS
- ONSITE CEU SESSIONS
- WORKSHOPS
- NEOCON TALKS
Pre-recorded, professionally produced 1-hour sessions available on the NeoCon Learning Hub Monday, June 9th through Wednesday, October 1st. Virtual CEU Sessions will be approved by IDCEC and AIA.
Select submissions will be chosen to present onsite at THE MART during NeoCon, June 9th- June 11th, 2025. Onsite CEU Sessions will be approved by IDCEC and AIA.
Experiential, longform sessions - ranging from 1.5 -2 hours - unique to NeoCon. Attendees will engage in live practice-oriented learning. Offered during select timeslots onsite at THE MART during NeoCon, June 9th- June 11th, 2025. Workshops will be approved by IDCEC and AIA.
Live 20-minute inspirational thought leaderships presentations onsite at THE MART’s 7th Floor Exhibit Hall in the NeoCon Talks Lounge, June 9th & June 10th, 2025. NeoCon Talks showcases new, impactful ideas and insights relevant to the NeoCon audience. Featuring emerging influencers, fresh angles and timely topics, they aim to ignite innovation. Typically presented by experts, these fast-paced, engaging sessions may include 1-2 speakers. Talks will be recorded and distributed post-show.

The Evaluation Process:
Members of the NeoCon Program Review Board evaluate all CEU and workshop presentations based on the following criteria: overall quality, relevance to the industry, well-defined focus within the educational category, practical applications of material, timeliness of the topic and speaker qualifications.
NeoCon Talk submissions will be selected and curated by the NeoCon team, in partnership with Work Design Magazine. Selections will be based on overall quality, new ideas, relevance to the industry, well-defined focus, timeliness of the topic and speaker qualifications.
To be considered for NeoCon 2025 programming:
- Your presentation must be educational in nature — Sales presentations will not be accepted.
- Industry manufacturers or vendors not participating at NeoCon are ineligible to speak or participate as a presenter.
- Your material should be original; otherwise, sources must be referenced.
- For multiple speakers, each speaker must agree to this submission.
- Incomplete presentation submissions will not be considered.
- Presentation selections and notifications will be made by February 21, 2025. You will be notified if your program is selected.
CEU Presentation Guidelines:
- Your presentation should address at least one of the educational categories listed: Design Skills, DEI (Diversity Equity & Inclusion), Education, Facility Management, Healthcare, Sustainability, Healthcare, Hospitality, Industry Directions, Lighting, Public Space, Sustainability, Technology, Wellness and Workplace.
- Presentations should be one hour in length of time.
- Presentations should not exceed four speakers, including the moderator.
- On behalf of selected workshops and continuing education unit (CEU) presentations, we will seek IDCEC and AIA approval upon confirmation .
For accepted 2025 submissions, NeoCon is pleased to offer:
- The list of attendees for your session(s), where applicable, including name, title, company and email address.
- Promotional support via NeoCon's marketing communications (including website, PR and social media).
- For selected onsite CEU presenters, NeoCon will provide one (1) night’s hotel accommodation for those traveling from outside the Chicago area. Hotel selected by NeoCon.
- NeoCon will not pay hotel expenses for speakers currently employed by manufacturers, permanent showrooms at THE MART, exhibitors, or members of the Press.
