The American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID) Annual Conference will be held at the Phoenix Convention Center from November 12 - 15, 2025, in Phoenix, Arizona. Posters and Table Clinics are an important part of this event and an excellent experience for students and researchers.
AAID will accept Posters and Table Clinics applications until September 22, 2025. If you have any questions regarding the application process, please contact Melinda at melinda@aaid.com.
Posters & Table Clinics
Eligibility
• Presenters and co-presenters must be AAID members/Student members.
• Applicants may co-author multiple abstracts.
• All poster presentations and table clinics will be judged, and scoring will be done.
Poster Presentation
1.Types: Clinical case, original Primary research, Review (Systematic review / meta-analysis/narrative)
2. 5 to 10 minutes are allocated for the presentation of posters. Presenter must remain at the poster at the time of judging/ breaks.
3. Presenter(s) use a bulletin board format to present.
4. A numbered eight (8) foot wide by four (4) foot high bulletin board is provided. Any-sized printed poster which fits the height and width of the bulletin board is appropriate.
Table Clinic Presentation
1. Presenter(s) demonstrate a simple, time-saving clinical procedure or technique, or an interesting scientific phenomenon.
2. Table clinics must begin and end at the posted times. Tables must be set up and equipment tested in advance of the start time.
3. The presenter/s must remain at the table throughout the entire session and cannot be on an auto loop play mode.
4. A presenter must use his or her own laptop computer
5. Models and radiographs may be used to enhance the presentation.
6. Video equipment, heavy office equipment, amplified sound devices, or actual patients, posters over 36 inches high, and equipment not confined to the tabletop are prohibited.
7. Handouts can be provided to attendees.
8. Every table clinic presentation must be recorded and submitted to the scientific committee to enter into the contest.
9. Table clinic presenters who do not wish to be judged for prizes can present with just the abstract.
Complimentary Registration for Students
Up to two full-time dental students per accepted application are eligible for complimentary conference registration. Students are responsible for their own housing and all other expenses connected with attending the meeting. To claim your complimentary registration, you will need to upload a form of verification. Examples of student verification include a current course schedule, a letter from the university registrar, or a copy of student ID with a graduation year.
Travel Grant
$500 travel expense reimbursement for up to 6 Residents in a full-time Oral Implantology Residency program (at least a minimum of 2 years in length) presenting Table Clinics and/or poster sessions at the AAID Annual meeting. These grants will be given on a first come, first serve basis.
