The Financial Planning Association (FPA) is pleased to announce its Call for Speakers for FPA Annual Conference 2025.

What We’re Looking For
Our mission is to spotlight the freshest trends and ideas from the top minds in the profession, while creating a space for participants to share insights, learn from one another, and grow both personally and professionally. Our dedicated FPA Annual Conference Volunteer Task Force reviews every submission. Due to limited speaking slots, we're only able to select proposals that best align with our content goals and programming needs.

While all topic proposals are welcome, the FPA Annual Conference Task Force has outlined preferred themes for this event. Proposals addressing the following topics will be prioritized:

• Financial Planning
• Insurance
• Investments
• Taxes
• Retirement 
• Estate Planning 
• Leading a Successful Practice
• Business Management 
• Technology
• Business Challenges
• Client Communication
• Marketing
• Attracting New Planners
• Future of the Profession

And, we're seeking the following session types:

• 30-minute Kickstart/Lightning talk
• 60-minute breakout sessions:
  • Lecture 
  • Workshop/Hands-on training
  • Panel discussion
  • Roundtable discussion

Who Should Submit and What to Expect
Are you a thought leader, industry expert, or someone deeply passionate about advancing the profession? If you have a session idea that will inspire, inform, or engage our audience, we encourage you to share your voice at FPA Annual Conference 2025. Deadline for Submissions
The Call for Speakers is now open, and proposals are due by 11:59 pm [EST] on Friday. May 23, 2025. Speaker selections will be made in late June and sessions/speakers will be announced by the second week of July.

Do you know of a must-see speaker, a challenging topic, or a highly valued session that would be a show-stopper for FPA Annual Conference 2025? Please encourage them to submit a proposal for consideration!
