ASLA 2025 Conference on Landscape Architecture
Call for Presentations

Deadline: Tuesday, February 18 (6:00 pm ET/ 3:00 pm PT)

OVERVIEW

This year’s theme, "Beyond Boundaries," celebrates how landscape architects are breaking down barriers—whether physical, political, or cultural—to create innovative solutions for today.

The ASLA 2025 Conference on Landscape Architecture will take in New Orleans, October 10 -13, 2025. The call for presentations is open from January 7 to February 18, 2025. Submit your proposal to help shape the conversation!

Let’s push "Beyond Boundaries" together by connecting with interdisciplinary partners—scientists, engineers, policymakers, and community members—as we explore how landscape architecture is driving a resilient, inclusive, and thriving world.

SESSION FORMATS

  • 75-Minute Education Session: The standard education session. Each session includes a 60-minute presentation followed by a 15-minute Q&A, featuring two or three speakers. Requests to include additional speakers will not be considered.
  • Field Session: Field sessions combine educational content delivered by multiple speakers with an immersive field experience. Field sessions are organized through the host chapter. Please email asla2025fieldsessions@gmail.com if you're interested in submitting a field session.
  • Deep Dive Sessions are by invitation only. If you have an idea for consideration by the Annual Conference Education Advisory Committee (ACEAC), please email us at speaker@asla.org.
