The Emergency Nurses Association (ENA) is looking for 2025 Leadership Conference programming content from experts like you. Below are the avenues to which you can submit your professional projects, growth and development opportunities, and other content that supports ENA leadership effectiveness and growth.

You may stop and start your submission, save and return to it later, any time prior to the submission deadline. THE SUBMISSION DEADLINE IS MONDAY, AUGUST 26, 2024.

ENA 2025 Leadership Conference
The ENA 2025 Leadership Conference will be held January 30-31, 2025 in Louisville, Kentucky

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
• Log on to the ENA Cadmium (Scorecard) to begin the submission process
• Complete the required tasks (description, outline, statement of understanding, etc.)
• Input a minimum of two and maximum of three speakers per presentation submission
• Select your target audience as ENA Leader, ED Nurse Leader, or Both

Submissions must select a primary topic area (up to two):

ENA Leadership:
(1) Member Recruitment; (2) Member Engagement; (3) Member Retention
(4) Social Media/Communications; (5) Hosting Successful Meetings;
(6) State Size-Specific Best Practices; (7) Health and Wellness
(8) Education/Conference Planning; (9) Organizational Financial Management;
(10) ENPC/TNCC Course Administration; (11) Strategic Planning/Goal Setting;
(12) Succession Planning/Officer Transitions; (13) Diversity, Equity and Inclusion;
(14) Advocacy/Government Affairs; (15) Future Leader Recruitment and Engagement
(16) Board Governance; (17) EN Staffing

ED Nurse Leadership:
(1) Human Resources

PRESENTATION SELECTIONS
• Presentations offer the opportunity to exchange ideas, network and impact the quality of membership, education and advocacy for emergency nurses.
• Abstracts should reflect sound adult learning principles and best practices, informed by theory, research and practice.
• All submissions accepted will be slotted for a 45-minute session.
• Each submission will be blindly reviewed.

To deliver exceptional learning experiences, preference may be given to proposals that are positioned to deliver a mix of the following:

CONTENT:
• Reflects innovative, cutting-edge content and evidence-based practice
• Enhances leaders who drive membership and engagement
• Explores issues important to diverse audiences
• Demonstrates the relevance of lessons through “real-life” case studies

INSTRUCTIONAL DESIGN:
• Stimulates and provokes discussion, audience engagement, and outcome-focused design
• Facilitates knowledge transfer and development of new competencies
• Uses methods that draw out relevant past knowledge and experiences
