The projects will represent the finest standards in sustainability, innovation, building performance, and overall integration with client and surrounding community. The 25-Year Award will recognize an outstanding achievement in architecture which remains as relevant today as it was when originally completed. Eligibility

BUILT SUBMISSIONS must have been completed after January 1, 2018 and either the Author of Design Architect must have been a member of AIA components within the AIA COF WMR (Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, New Mexico, Nevada, Utah, Wyoming), OR the Architect of Record must have been a member of an AIA COF WMR component AND the Author of Design Architect must be attributed. Projects DO NOT have to have previously received a design award from any AIA COF WMR State component to enter the AIA COF WMR Design& Honor Awards Program.

The size and location of a project will in no way limit its eligibility. AIA COF WMR State component AIA members may separately submit as many projects for consideration as they wish. Projects must be submitted by an AIA COF WMR State component AIA member. For projects in which an AIA member has joint ventured or associated with an Author of Design Architect, the member must be the Architect-of-Record. If that firm has been dissolved or its name has been changed, an individual or successor firm may enter projects in the name of the firm in effect at the time the project was executed. Where responsibility for a project is shared, all participants who substantially contributed to the work must be appropriately credited.

CATEGORIES

DISTINGUISHED ARCHITECTURE SUBMISSIONS (Built, Unbuilt) should clearly demonstrate process and accomplishment through a combination of text, diagrams, drawings, photographs and other graphic materials and address the issues outlined in the Jury Criteria.

25 YEAR AWARD SUBMISSIONS should clearly demonstrate the relevance and impact of the project, both when originally completed, and as it continues to be a vital part of the built environment today.
