AALL Annual Meeting & Conference Program Proposal Collection
Thank you for proposing an educational program for AALL 2025 to be held in Portland, OR, July 19 -22, 2025.
Before you proceed, the Annual Meeting Program Committee (AMPC) encourages you to review the list of "must have" program topics, and familiarize yourself with the guidelines for crafting a robust proposal. The AMPC will evaluate all submitted proposals using an updated comprehensive rubric.
To start a proposal, please create an account first. Please note this is a different username and password than your login for AALLNET.
Need help submitting your proposal? Watch this helpful step-by-step video to walk you through the process.
Per AALL’s expense reimbursement policy, AALL members coordinating, moderating, or speaking on Annual Meeting programs must purchase a full conference registration or a single-day registration valid for the day of their program. Program coordinators are not required to attend the Annual Meeting & Conference but are strongly encouraged. AALL does not pay honoraria to AALL members for presentations at programs during the Annual Meeting & Conference.
AALL will provide a complimentary single-day registration for nonmember speakers who work outside the legal information profession, would not otherwise have reason to be a member of AALL, and have not previously been a member of AALL. AALL does not provide honoraria to non-member speakers or reimburse them for travel, room, meals, or other expenses. In some cases, AALL may make limited exceptions to this policy in accordance with the Annual Meeting budget and the speaker's ability to provide unique perspectives and contributions to the Annual Meeting program.
AALL is committed to fostering, cultivating and preserving a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion in who we are and what we do. We encourage proposers to work with speakers and panelists with diverse backgrounds, experiences, and demographics. In an effort to have a diverse group of speakers and thought leaders on educational programs, we encourage an individual be involved with a maximum of two programs.
