Submissions are now open for Entomology 2025.
We are accepting submissions for oral 10-Minute Presentations, Poster Displays,
Mini Workshops, and Meetings & Events (formerly called Functions).
Rules and Regulations
- You do not have to be a member to submit an abstract. However, all presenting authors MUST register for Entomology 2025. Registration will open in early June with an early-bird deadline of September 15.
- Presenters are limited to one oral presentation and one poster display presentation. This includes contributed, student, and invited presentations part of symposia; no exceptions. Each submitted presentation must be unique. Violators will be removed from the program.
- NEW IN 2025: Due to the continued growth of the student competition, students presenting at the Annual Meeting must submit their first, second, and third presentation preferences. Presentation options include competition and non-competition entries for both 10-Minute Presentations and Poster Displays.
Every effort will be made to align each presenter’s preference with the available space and time for the competition. All assignments will be made by the Student Competition Co-Chairs, and their decisions are final.
Student presentations submitted after the May 30 deadline will not be eligible for inclusion in the student competition but will be placed in a non-competition session or a non-student session. - Presenters who fail to show up for their scheduled presentations without notifying the program planner of cancellation may not be permitted to present oral or poster presentations at any ESA-sponsored meeting for two years following the "no-show."
- Invited speakers in symposia should not submit their presentation using this portal. Instead, invited speakers should provide their symposium organizer with their presentation information and the organizer will add it to the symposium on the presenter’s behalf.
- Presenters who abstracts are accepted for presentation but subsequently withdraw their abstracts two or more times within the last five years may be excluded from the program.
- Entomology 2025 will feature live, in-person sessions and presentations only. Accommodations for pre-recorded or virtual content will not be accepted.
