The National Hardware Show (NHS) is the one event that unites the entire industry and where attendees connect and discover the newest products, innovations and trends that are shaping the future of the home improvement and DIY industry.
The NHS Education Program’s aim is to provide conferees with cutting-edge tools and resources to make informed business decisions, boost profitability, and stay competitive.
Presented during the first 2 days of the show (March 18 and 19), with a stage directly on the show floor, the NHS Education program is designed for conferees who want to dive into 5 relevant industry topics: 2025 Industry Trends, New Retail and Merchandising strategies, Better Employ AI and the Latest Technologies to Grow Your Business, and Marketing and Communication Strategies to Retain Customers. The tracks will also focus on Women in the Building Industry.
Conference Audience:
The NHS Show Education Program caters to the entire industry: home centers, independent retailers, online retailers, wholesalers, distributors, brands and sub-manufacturers, and everyone in between. It serves a wide range of job titles such as Executive Management (Owners and Senior Executives), General Management (VPs, Directors, and Managers), Buyers, Merchandisers, Marketing Teams, Influencers and Pros among others.

Notification of acceptance will be as submissions are received with a final date of 12/15/2024
- Proposals must be submitted using the online form found below no later than Friday November 22, 2024.
- A maximum of three proposals are permitted from any one company or individual.
- Complete and submit all required items in the session proposal form.
- A confirmation email will be sent upon submission.
- Proposals will be reviewed by the NHS Show Education Management Team and submitters will be notified by email of the Management Team's decisions
- All correspondence and notifications will be sent electronically to the email addresses listed on the submission form.
- Note: All proposal submissions MUST include a presentation outline, as requested in the proposal submission form.
- All of the speakers' individual travel and living expenses are at their own expense, unless pre-approved with show management.
- Speaker fees, if applicable, must be indicated.
- Relevance and timeliness of topic
- Innovation and tactical focus
- Quality of proposal (alignment of session description, outline and learning objectives)
- Expertise of presenter(s)
- Commercial-free, vendor-neutral nature of session proposal
- Adherence to one of the 5 tracks: 2025 Industry Trends, New Retail and Merchandising strategies, Better Employ AI and the Latest Technologies to Grow Your Business, Women in the Building Industry, and Marketing and Communication Strategies to Retain Customers.
