FABTECH conference program managers and advisors will focus selections on industry-relevant content and education. Selections will be based on the following criteria: Overall quality, Relevance to the industry, Well-defined focus within the program track structure, and speakers who are engaging, inspiring and implement practices that will enhance the attendee learning experience.
FABTECH has a strict policy on non-use of commercial abstracts and sales pitches. Click HERE for Speaker Requirements and Guidelines.
Follow the guidelines below to submit an abstract for consideration in the 2025 program.
Submitting an Abstract:
For all submissions, you must log into the Cadmium Scorecard module (FABTECH abstract management portal).
***PLEASE READ (even if you have previously submitted)***
Due to data privacy and protection, we can no longer save your user data from a previous year. All submitters MUST create a new user account in order to submit for this year's conference. Please create your account by clicking on "New Account" under "To Submit" below.
What you need prior to entering the system:
*As a marketing or PR representative, please ensure you provide the speaker’s information, including their email and phone number. Failure to do so may result in the submission being denied. You can also include your contact details in the support section.
Once all three speaker tasks are complete (showing a green check mark) and you click submit, you will receive a confirmation email that your abstract is successfully submitted. If you do not receive a confirmation email, please contact Serena Naylor at snaylor@sme.org or 313-425-3026.
After you set up your initial account, you can make changes and/or add submissions by accessing your account under the "Update Existing Submission" section below.

- List of Co-Presenter Names, Emails, Positions, Organizations, Credentials (if applicable)
- Abstract Title
- Abstract
- Biography
- Hi-Res Headshot Photo

Common Questions:
- We do not provide honorariums or travel accommodation for speakers. We do have dedicated event hotel room blocks and those details are on the event website under "Travel".
- We do register all speakers accepted into the conference program and provide complimentary access to attend other conference sessions, special events in the main theater and access to the expo hall.
