In its 15th year, SpiceWorld is bringing together thousands of IT pros and hundreds of tech vendors, for 3 jam-packed days of tech learning and fun. And this year SpiceWorld is hybrid, which means you can enjoy the in-person event at the Austin Convention Center in Austin, TX, or virtually from wherever you are. SpiceWorld continues to focus on connecting IT attendees with the tools, content, and people to help them excel in their jobs.
If you're an IT pro or tech expert with a desire to present your successful IT strategies, cutting-edge technologies, or helpful solutions, we invite you to submit to speak at SpiceWorld! IT pros that attend SpiceWorld are eager to learn practical tips to help them be the IT superheroes within their organizations.
Important Dates
Here's how it works: Once call for speakers has closed, the Spiceworks Community will vote on the sessions to tell us which ones they'd like to see at SpiceWorld. Finalists will then be reviewed by a team of Spiceworks staffers who will consider previous session ratings, current trending topics, and feedback from our own technical and IT staff. The selected sessions will be announced in June*. *Subject to change
Session Categories/Topics
To help attendees navigate all the great content at SpiceWorld, submitted sessions should fall into one of the categories below:
Now that SpiceWorld is hybrid, we have two types of presentation formats you can select: 1) Virtual - requiring you to pre-record your accepted session before SpiceWorld, and 2) In-person - requiring you to attend SpiceWorld in person to deliver your accepted presentation live in front of an audience. And if you’re up for it, you are welcome to submit to both formats.
Tips for Success: Virtual Submissions
Virtual - Virtual session times will be 30 mins to cater to the virtual attention span. There will be some time for Q&A at the end of the presentation.
In-Person - Sessions are an hour-long: 45 minutes of presentation, 10 minutes of Q&A, and 5 minutes of “squish” room. Most sessions will have 1 or 2 speakers presenting.

- Get specific. Clearly define the concepts and ideas in your submission, explain the problem and the solution(s) you’re offering, as well as any important details.
