RMISC is looking for presentations covering a variety of current and future Information Technology Security, IT Auditing, IT Governance, Risk and Compliance, AI, Management and Legal Issues and Emerging Trends topics.
Presentations should be geared toward one of the following tracks: Emerging Industry Trends and Threat Methods, Governance Risk & Compliance, Privacy and Data Sovereignty, Career Development and People Management, AppSec Dev and DevSecOps, Incident Response and Threat Intelligence Operations, Architecture / How To, Ethics and emerging regulatory trends, AI (LLM and ML), Security Management / Leadership
Presentations should be in-depth and focused on a specific issue or technology. Please try to stay away from overviews or summaries. Sessions will be 1 hour in total length, including Q&A.
Hands-on demos and case studies with actionable outcomes are encouraged. Participants want to take-away skills and information that they can use.
The first day of the conference, Wednesday, May 28th, will be included as a conference day. The afternoon will consist of extended 3-hour workshops along with 1-hour sessions. During your submission, you may submit to present a 3-Hour Workshop, 1 hour breakout session or your submission can be considered for either slot. If this option is selected, the Content Committee will evaluate the submission and availability and designate the session type that will fit best. Please plan the content of your presentations accordingly.
Each submitter will be limited to a maximum of 2 submissions.
If your presentation is selected for inclusion in the conference, you will be informed in early February. Those selected to present will receive a complimentary registration for the conference.
If you are a vendor looking to inform attendees about a product or a service, please do not submit your topic here. Speaking opportunities are available during the conference as part of an overall Sponsorship package, please view the available packages at https://rmisc.org/sponsor-info. Under no circumstances will a presentation geared towards a single commercial product or company be accepted via the call for presentation process.
