Learn Serve Lead 2023: The Annual Meeting
Call for Proposals - Phase 2

The deadline for submission is Friday, March 31, 2023 by 11:59 PM EDT.

Program Staff Leads will have until March 31 to further refine their proposal(s) and to utilize facilitator and speaker expertise in shaping the final session title, description and learning objectives. Consider LSL Advisory feedback provided in the acceptance letter when re-writing your proposals.

Program Staff must login to Cadmium to make changes to session titles, descriptions, learning objectives, and program staff leads/logistics coordinators. You will also be asked to update answers about session logistics in Cadmium. These are the only 5 fields that will accept edits. As of March 31, we will pull the session title, description, learning objectives and staff leads/logistics coordinators from Cadmium for the online agenda. The Learn Serve Lead agenda is copy edited, so there may be slight changes from what was submitted to the session information that appears online.

At this time, we are unable to determine which day/time sessions will be scheduled during the November 3-7th meeting. We will be following up with the confirmed session date/time in mid-April. In mid-April, you will also be asked to fill out the Speaker and Facilitator Submission Form which is housed outside of Cadmium and will be used to collect all confirmed speaker and facilitator information for your session during 2023 Learn Serve Lead. Once this form is open, all speakers and facilitators must be submitted through this form, we do not carry over information submitted in Cadmium to the final program as information and speakers can change between the time they were first submitted and when they are confirmed for the final program. Please also keep in mind that all confirmed speakers need to agree to pay for their conference registration to the event.

For session titles: Please use this format, “Building Health Equity in Impoverished Communities,” instead of “Building health equity in impoverished communities”.

For learning objectives: Please do not number the learning objectives. Learn Serve Lead uses a bulleted format on the agenda and we add them once we pull the information from the system. If your proposed learning objectives currently include any form of numbering, dashes or bullets, please remove this before you submit your session for inclusion on program. We recommend that you have at least 3 learning objectives.

Please note: As of the March 31 deadline, we will begin communicating with the assigned AAMC Program Staff Lead instead of the submitter on the proposal. We hope that the submitter and assigned AAMC Program Staff Lead will work together on completing the tasks above.
