NUTRITION 2025 Call for Abstracts
The American Society for Nutrition (ASN) welcomes the submission of research in the form of abstracts for presentation at NUTRITION 2025 which will be held May 31 – June 3, 2025, in Orlando, FL. All abstract presentations will be given in-person only at NUTRITION 2025.

• Become eligible for abstract-based award competitions and awards

The deadline to submit an abstract for consideration for presentation at NUTRITION 2025 is Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at 11:59 PM ET.

Abstracts can include:

• Research: New research and/or secondary analysis of data
• Methods: Newly established or characterized methods, or evaluations of existing methods
• Protocols: Descriptions of proposed studies, or recruitment and process results of newly started studies
• Case study: A clinical vignette or case report is a means of disseminating new knowledge gained from clinical practice

NUTRITION 2025 will feature a President’s Oral Session: Abstracts of Distinction spotlighting innovative, impactful research that is advancing the field of nutrition research and practice. All abstracts submitted to NUTRITION 2025 will be considered for this prestigious session.

Accepted abstracts will be programmed as poster and oral presentations at NUTRITION 2025 and published in Current Developments in Nutrition. Presenting authors are expected to register for the meeting and participate in their assigned session.


NUTRITION 2025 Late Breaking/Rapid Science Submissions
Separate from abstracts, beginning on February 10, 2025, ASN welcomes Late Breaking/Rapid Science Submissions for NUTRITION 2025 featuring high-impact research nearing final publication.

These submissions should present data that are high impact, groundbreaking, innovative and newsworthy for which results were not available by the January 21 general abstract submission deadline. This category is not a mechanism to update data submitted during the general abstract submission period.

Only a limited number of Late Breaking/Rapid Science Submissions will be accepted for presentation at NUTRITION 2025.
