PRESENTATION TYPES

Abstract Submission | Abstract submissions must be 500 words or less and may include up to three supporting images.

Video Submission | Video submissions must be no longer than 8 minutes in length. Video file size must be 500 Mb or less. Narration in the English language is mandatory and files must be submitted as a .MP4 format. As part of the video submission process, a written abstract must be submitted.

All accepted abstracts will be published in AHS Journal Hernia.

DUPLICATE SUBMISSION POLICY

• All abstracts must be new and original content. No abstracts may be submitted that have been previously presented unless they include at least 50% new data. The abstract submitted must present original work that has not and is not expected to be presented nor published prior to the American Hernia Society Annual Meeting (including other regional, national or international meetings).
