2025 AAMC Health Professions Financial Aid Administrators Conference

The submission process is open to ALL participating health professions. Please share this opportunity with your colleagues and professional networks.
We invite you to develop engaging, interactive conference sessions and share your expertise and effective practices. Collaboration with student financial aid colleagues at your institution or other schools, including other health professions, is encouraged. Submissions on all applicable topics are welcome, including the following topics relevant to the financial aid community:
- Financial Value Transparency, reporting preparations and effective approaches
- Artificial intelligence (AI) in financial aid
- Debt management, effective approaches
- Financial literacy, budgeting, and credit
- Scholarship management/awarding post-Supreme Court decision
- Support for underrepresented and disadvantaged learners and non-traditional students (first-generation, students with DACA status, etc.)
- Preparing for an audit or LCME review
- Utilizing financial aid software systems
- Non-standard curriculum/academic calendar challenges
- Leave of absence considerations and academic delays
- Professional and leadership development and support topics (i.e., pursuing professional certifications, managing change, advocating for financial aid roles, wellness, succession planning)
Please have the following prepared for submitting your proposal: title, description, session key takeaways (learning objectives), and speaker(s) information. All submissions will be reviewed based on the following criteria: relevance, audience engagement, collaboration, key takeaways (learning objectives), learning application, and clarity of writing.
The deadline to submit is 11:59 pm PT on Friday, August 23rd.
Decision notifications will be sent to submitters in September.
